SECURITY & CONFIDENTIALITY

Visitors to this site are not required to give out any personal information. You do not need to create an "account" with us in order to download software. All visitors can browse anonymously and will not be tracked over multiple sessions.

INFORMATION GATHERED

We log visitors' IP addresses and HTTP requests, which is standard procedure. This data is kept private except in cases of web site abuse; in such situations, the pertinent data may be made available to relevant authorities. We also log in detail all attempts to submit sites through our OpenLinx listing. Data acquired from hosts choosing to contribute to OpenLinx will not be kept private.

EXTERNAL SITES

We have no control over external sites (for example, the Freefind search engine, advertisers, or links in OpenLinx). Please refer to these other web sites' Privacy Policies.

MAILING LIST

New subscribers must complete a cryptographic challenge-response (random token exchange) to ensure that only the owner of an e-mail address can sign up. We also log the IP addresses of new subscribers. This is done to protect ourselves in case one of our mailings is mistaken for spam. In the case of such a misunderstanding, we will reveal the data logged earlier (including e-mail and IP addresses) to prove that our mailing was in fact solicited.

We keep all subscribers' e-mail addresses private and never sell or otherwise give out our e-mail lists to anyone else. In other words, you will not begin receiving spam if you sign up for our mailing list.

COOKIES

This web site does not use any cookies. Sites that we link to (including advertisers) may use cookies.

ORDERING SOFTWARE ONLINE

Our software orders are handled by ShareIt. They use secure SSL forms to protect your personal information. ShareIt does not sell customer information to other companies, and nor do we. Please refer to their web site and our own FAQ for more information.

E-MAILING US

All contact information is available here. If we receive spam or other abusive communications, we may make the details of the communication (including your identity) public knowledge. E-mail is insecure and is not recommended for the transmission of any private information.
